Powered by GoogleOur son Maciek spent two weeks at Pinehurst Camp in Maine, and it was his very first time away at summer camp. We couldn't be happier with how everything went. From day one, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and truly caring. They made him feel safe and included, which made all the difference. The camp provided the perfect mix of outdoor fun, new experiences, and positive structure. Maciek came back full of energy, stories, and excitement — he made new friends, learned new skills, and gained a lot of confidence. As parents, we were very impressed with the communication and organization. Pinehurst Camp created a supportive environment where kids can grow and enjoy themselves. Thank you to the entire team for making his first camp experience such a positive one. We highly recommend Pinehurst to any family looking for a great summer camp!
I would fully wholeheartedly, without hesitation, endorse this camp and the ABSOLUTELY fabulous staff! It was a true pleasure getting to meet people that still embodied the full love and trust of children. It's the way it should be, fabulous staff fabulous times had by the campers. I am not known to go off like this so let that speak for itself as well. I am usually very critical in my reviews and do not mince words, so when I say these people still want to love and care for the kids, I fully mean it. And to the staff that I'm sure will read this? Congratulations 👏 You're doing great!
I’ve been coming to Camp Pinehurst since I finished kindergarten, and now as i’m becoming a second-year CIT, I can truly say it’s one of my favorite places in the world. The camp sits on a gorgeous lake, perfect for swimming, boating, and just enjoying nature. The Curtis family, who own and run the camp, are incredibly kind and make everyone feel like part of the family. Over the years, I’ve made lifelong friends and amazing memories here. If you’re looking for a fun, welcoming, and unforgettable summer experience, I can’t recommend Camp Pinehurst enough!
Definitely go to this camp! The Curtis’s were our teachers in high-school, and they remain part of probably only a handful which we can say we truly loved. We are now around *cough* forties and STILL bring up camp. You can tell the difference between camps trying to churn out parents dollars, and this kind of camp- which is so full of warmth and will change your child’s life while keeping them a kid
I have had some of the most fun and memorable experiences coming to Camp Pinehurst over the summer growing up. What makes this sleep away camp so special and enjoyable is the people, the staff and directors genuinely care so much about giving kids the opportunity to try and learn new things in a safe, supportive space while having fun and making life long friends. Spending my summers here as a camper and then a counselor were so incredibly fun and entertaining. The size of the camp is perfect, not too many people that it is overwhelming and hard to make close friends, but also not too small. Going to a sleep away camp like this creates a special bond between friends, and Camp Pinehurst is an amazing place to meet great friends while maximizing the summer for fun outdoor activities!
