My family had a negative experience with Hoop Camp that we feel compelled to share with other parents who are considering sending their children here. Our daughter had to leave the camp almost immediately due to an unexpected illness. We understood the need to prioritize health and safety, but what shocked us was the camp's complete unwillingness to consider any form of refund or credit for next year's fees. For any parents out there who might find it difficult to scrape together the funds for camp, be warned: there will be no consideration for you if your child is dismissed for a medical reason. The camp's inflexible policy does not account for genuine emergencies, leaving families like ours with a significant financial loss. We will not be recommending Hoop Camp to anyone. Our experience left us feeling unsupported and undervalued, and I would advise other parents to look for a camp with a more compassionate and understanding approach to unforeseen circumstances.
