Powered by GoogleOne of the worst run camps I have ever been apart of!!! I have personally seen, and dealt with disrespect, and lies to the highest of levels! The treatment of staff from oversees was atrocious, and they were the hardest working people in the place.. I was told to not clean or help clean the youngest (7) which had feses all over the toilets. When I couldnt get simple athletic supplies like tennis balls, or a 🏀s i knew this camp was on the downslide, and seeing nicole and Jason direct i instantly knew I was correct. I was baffled and confused when i saw no lights on basketball or tennis courts. When it was more important for flowers to be seen instead of equipment for kids i instantly new this camp wasnt for me. I have been going to camp forever. Huge lack of respect for campers, cousolors, and staff!! What a shame! Didn't even want to give em 1 star!! If ur looking for an amazing summer I would d go to a camp with legit owners, directors and staff that care a little more about kids having an experience they will never forget in a positive way!! Theres no hard feelings, just important to always tell truth!!
We LOVE Camp Crescent Cove!! The staff are wonderful and create an incredible experience for our child’s summer! We can’t say enough about how hard Jason and Nicole work to make each summer even better than we knew possible!
Camp Crescent cove. Is a wonderful family owned and run camp . Which i can personaly vouch for as i have spent many wonderful summers there as both part of the team . And the parent of a camper. I get to see people who i knew as campers themselves many years ago . now drop off their own children for the summer .. having different generations of the same family returning .speaks volumes about this place .. even my own son has grown up as a camper here and returned as a staff member ..its a special place run by wonderful people . And improving its facilitys year by year .. doing their best to hire the ideal people to fill councilor/instructor positions .. from America and abroad . while many staff return summer after summer . For most .it's a summer or two during college years . Working on a summer camp can be a wonderful experience . And you meet people who become life long friends . "Like an extended family" .. working a summer camp takes a special kind of person . As you are entrusted by parents with their prize possessions.. their children ! Sadly just like every other place of employment . Once in a while you get an employee that doesn't fit .. for one reason or another .. When working with and looking after other people's children . You have to give it your all ! Every now and again but not too often we have to ask someone to leave . Due to bad choices made by them or we just feel they are not the right fit . SOME can accept it gracefully and chalk it down to experience . But once in a while you will get someone who feels hard done by . And in retaliation will put up negative reviews .. and worse get friends who have never even set foot on the property . Do the same thing .. thankfully 5☆ ratings speak for them selves 😉 these are from the parents who know it's a wonderful place with wonderful people ..and keep bringing their children back summer after summer . Not going to name names .. but any one who has given a one star . Is either a disgruntled person we know .. or a friend of theirs that does not know the camp ( never seen or been on it ) and just trying to be little it . At the request of someone else . Its quite easy to see who these people are. As 95 % of the people who have posted are parents who's kids love this place .. or ex staff who feel the same way . Sadly with the world the way it is these days . Any body can make false clames on line .. but take it from me .. someone who has known the place for 30 years .. it's special .. yes we don't have hundreds of kids . But that means each and every one of us knows each and every person in our care .. we are just one big family who happen to live in different homes for the rest of the year .. and just have our wonderful summers together .. 😉
Camp Crescent Cove was everything we hoped for, and more!! As first time campers, my girls ages 12 and 9, couldn’t have had a better experience!! Camp Crescent Cove was safe, clean, a ton of fun, and packed with personality! The staff were warm and attentive, the activities were creative and confidence-boosting, and the daily photo updates made us feel part of the magic! From themed days to surprisingly great food, every detail was thoughtfully designed! I can’t say enough great things about Nicole and Jason, they are so hands on and accommodating… to the kids, staff and parents! My 9 year old was tearing up because she didn’t want to leave!! Best. Summer. Ever !!! We are already counting down to next year!
My 2 children both loved their summer experience this summer- 8 yr old girl and 11 yr old boy. It was hard to find a camp that offered activities for both kids’ interests- they literally have everything a kid could ever want to do- and so many fun games and entertainment- no drama. I see some disgruntled former young staff all left some negative reviews about the owners all at once bringing the rating down, but many staff I met have been long time returning staff and love the owners. Jason and Nicole were very hands on with me before/during/after camp and always reachable and helpful. Focus on kid and parent experiences when picking a camp. My kids can’t wait to go back next year - we look forward to many more summer memories.
