Summer's Fun Day Camp at the YMCA of Greater Bergen County's New Milford Program Center, 1092 Carnation Drive, for children entering kindergarten through 10th grade, plus a counselor-in-training track for ages 16-17. Camp runs Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:15pm from late June to late August, with buses leaving the center at 8:30am; before and after care are available for an added fee. Campers swim twice a day (one certified swim lesson plus free swim) and take arts and crafts, sports and games, nature activities and boating.

★Begüm Melisa YildizToday was my son's first pool lesson at the YMCA program. And it was absolutely awful. We went there half an hour early because it was the first lesson. I couldn't find anyone in charge. When it was time for the lesson, I got up to look for the locker rooms and someone helped me. When I got my son dressed and took him to the lesson, they told me his name wasn't on the list and that the lesson was canceled. No one called me. It's so sad that I went in this cold and they didn't reach me. I don't even know if they'll do a make-up lesson.

Employees are pleasant, the pool is wonderful and during these covid times you must reserve a lane in advance which is for your safety and not the Y''s fault. I swim 3 times a week and take exercise classes twice a week and I feel lucky to have the Y nearby.
