Summer Days at the J is the JCC of Mid-Westchester's day camp in Scarsdale, serving toddlers through sixth graders. Explorers, for twos through kindergarteners, mixes pool time, gymnastics, dance, sports, gardening, music, baking and STEAM activities; Adventurers, for children entering grades 1-6, lets campers pick a morning focus - Aquatics, Dance & Performing Arts, Gymnastics or STEAM - and rotate through other indoor and outdoor activities each afternoon. The Adventurers day runs 9:00am-4:00pm, with early care from 8:00am, hourly after care to 6:00pm billed at $30/hour, and a pre-registered Expedition Outpost extended-day option from 4:00 to 5:00 or 6:00pm. The 2026 season runs June 29-August 14 as a full summer or two sessions, with an added Week 8 August 17-21; the camp describes its community as one where campers embrace the Jewish values of responsibility, respect and care for others, and a 5% sibling discount is available.
