The Stratford YMCA, part of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA, runs Camp Parrot Perch, a summer day camp serving ages 3 to 17 depending on the program. More than 120 campers a day enjoy swimming, field trips, adventure and new friendships across the summer.

★Reina BatistaThis is the worst YMCA I have ever been to. I almost lost my life here. I got a program to teach me how to swim, and I was drowning and no one saved me. According to them, they have lifeguards but no one helped me. The person who helped me was someone who went with me. But I don't recommend this place to anyone. If this happened to me it could happen to anyone and even worse. Thank God I didn't get older but I was left with a very ugly experience and it traumatized me.this happened on Saturday 20 on January 2024 .

The instructors are very pleasant and it’s not too crowded like the others. My daughter even made friends with the kids in her swim class.
