The adult 18 and up Men's Locker Room has the largest Men's hot tub in the area. Parking is terrible usually at peak times. No nudity allowed in hot tub,sauna or steam room and you must bring your own towel. Cell phones and or Cameras are banned but there are trash people who insist on violating that rule. You can Report them but this Y makes it extremely difficult to get enforcement. Some staff at this Y have decided that cell phones are ok if the member claims they just listen to music. But of course that may not be what they are really doing and camera use may be what they really intend to do. The point is this is not a safe space from being photographed without your consent. Grown Adult men can not read and obey a sign that bans cell phones and or Cameras. Why are these people allowed to be members and ruin the Y for those who follow the rules? The full size locker rental system they have has no waiting list and people can wait more than a year to rent a locker. Another badly run program that does not serve people well or fairly. Take a tour and look for how many people disobey the rules before you join.

Shout out to Towanda for her professional Zumba classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 pm!! I thought she was from the Islands 😆with her precision moves! She has a welcoming/inclusive personality. Fun-filled environment. She always checks in several times with new people in her classes (caring). Her music is mixed with Island rhythm, grooving, cha-cha, ... We also do some LINE DANCING! Move at your own pace 😅. #GetHereASAP 😂

This Y has a strange layout, I think because it's older. The women's workout room is tiny, dark, and has limited machines. The workout rooms and changing rooms themselves are clean. I'm giving it 3 stars because I asked the person at the check in desk if I could have a tour. She pointed me to the map and asked what I was looking for. She gave me vague instructions and turned to talk to someone else. Later, while working out in the dimly lit women's room that feels a bit like an afterthought, I noticed people coming in with Y employees...doing tours. I am a regular at the Robinhood location and I see people getting tours alllllllllll the time. I feel like I was pushed aside. It's not a good look, especially when I have proof that others get tours.

My family got a ymca membership for the first time earlier this month. We've been to a few locations, but this one is closest to us. It's nothing special. But its not bad either. We've been here to swim twice now. And I don't think we will be returning, at least not to this location. We arrived this evening to swim and the pool is temporarily closed due to the weather (lightning). We wait like 30 minutes, the weather subsides, and they open the pool back up. Its not a small pool, but well over half of the pool is swimming lanes. So there's already not a lot of room. We swim a while and I notice an instructor roping off one area of the pool for swimming lessons, maybe 1/4 of the space we had to swim. She's polite, chipper, and let's us know we can swim on the other side that isn't roped off. A few minutes go by we're swimming, having a good time, I turn around and there's another instructor, a thin, older(40-50) white lady with a pool rope in her hand, she tells me and my kids to move. I let her know the other instructor told us to swim in this area. She continues to tells us to move over and over. "I'm setting up my rope, move." Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she spoke that way because we weren't her clients. This is not only unproffesional, it's unecessary, and unwarranted. Not only was she rude to my children and me, her roping off this area cut the swimming space by half and cramped about 15 people into a small space. I got so overwhelmed we left. On my way out I mentioned my interaction with this instructor to the lifeguard. She let me know immediately that this isn't the first time this has happened and just yesterday she was rude to another kid. The lifeguard also told me a mix of: she's not always like that, she has a second job, she's tired, she needs a vacation, etc. If your establishment is aware this woman is a problem, then it is your responsibility to fix it. The next person she interacts with this way may not be so forgiving.

★★Gentle touch Doula

My experience here was horrible actually! When I first got there, there were two people in front of me. I patiently waited for the older man to service them, but when it came to me he acted as if he didn’t see me. I finally asked him after just standing there, do I need to be elsewhere? He doesn’t even really acknowledge me still but instead asked what I was looking for with this look on his face as if I was bothering him. He then gives me false information to help me serve my purpose of being there in the first place. I ended up having to return to the desk where he continued to act as if I didn’t exist when I know he was aware of my presence on both occasions of me standing right in front of him. I waited patiently for an older lady with dread locks to finish her conversation with other co-workers. I then let her know why I was there and she let me know she could assist me. I asked her why the man out front acted as if he couldn’t see me, she then gave me an excuse that made no sense then told me to let the supervisor know who was nowhere in sight. OKAY! So she begins to service me at an open kiosk out front. Okay! As she’s assisting me, a insanely rude young man approached the kiosk, as if I wasn’t even standing there, he then proceeded to go back and forth with the YMCA employee who was telling him that she will assist him once she was done with me. I then chime in because he was getting amped up even more, and unfortunately, as many MEN that were present, everyone just stood around and watched, even the male employee's. The lady then asked him to leave and his way out he was giving middle fingers and being combative. I was a bit intimidated to leave. Anyways, she finished assisting me and I left. I’m really hoping I’m not placing my child in an unsafe environment.
