West End House Camp has created a lifetime of memories for me as a camper, staff and now parent of a camper. The friendships made, the competition, the sheer fun that my son and I have both experienced makes West End a truly priceless experience.

My son went to West End House Camp last year and he loved. He was really happy for learning how to fish!

The day my son arrived home from West End House Camp last summer he immediately said, "You signed me up for camp next year, right?" This year he will return for his 4th summer at WEHC and he is counting down the days! He has made incredible friends of all ages and backgrounds at camp, who have enriched and expanded his social development. West End House Camp has taught my son to be independent, boosted his confidence and exposed him to new activities that he may not have tried at home. We are a second generation WEHC family - it is truly a one-of-a-kind camp!

Going to West End House Camp will be important for your son now and for the rest of his life! I started as a 10 year old 8 weeker and continued for 5 years as a camper and 5 years as a counselor. 20 years later I had the unbelievable opportunity to help run the camp for a couple of decades. My son was a camper and a counselor for 12 years and loved it as much as I did! He started several years before I returned. I asked his permission first, and he said yes! Comparable to my wife saying yes! My best friends are West Enders. Many came to my wedding and also to my son’s and daughter’s weddings. West Enders helped my daughter get her first job after college, and my son‘s first internships so that he could come back to camp as a counselor for longer. I would not be the independent, confident, competent, resilient, social, and compassionate person that I think I am if not for my experiences at West End House Camp! Please have your son join our family! He will thank you now and forever!

When looking for a camp to send my sons too, I was referred to West End House Camp by multiple friends. Both of my sons went there and could not have enjoyed the experience more. They went on to become counselors and are now actively involved in the camp alumni. The experiences, friends and lifelong relationships they made there have been amazing. It is truly a special place and I give it my highest recomendation
