Rock-music day camp in Dedham Square where campers spend the day on band rehearsals, DJ and beat-making classes, songwriting sessions, outdoor acoustic jams, music electives and optional lunchtime sports. Full-day camp runs 9:00am-3:30pm for ages 5-17, split into KidzRock II (5-6), Jr. Rockerz (6-11) and TeenBandz (12-17); four-year-olds attend a half-day KidzRock I from 9:00am-12:00pm. Extended care is available from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Sessions are two weeks long, running from early July through late August, at a five-room facility with band rooms, a recording studio and a DJ/production studio; all experience levels are welcome.
