Great location. Well stocked gym. Never too crowded or busy. The community is friendly and supportive. The extra amenities of big steam room and saunas are an added bonus. Definitely a hidden gem of gym.

Great YMCA! Do not park behind it your car will be broken into. My window has been smashed and before that my door was messed with. There is a very serious homeless situation around that building down town. I'd never have my wife come here while it's dark for that very reason. Great facilities though and amazing staff. It's the only ymca sauna steam room combo so I'll get a Lyft there to save paying for another window.

I grew up in Dallas and I still love going to the Downtown YMCA. I'm 63 years old and the staff still gives the best customer service in the world. The staff have been great excellent and wonderful done the YMCA has been open and again I'm 63 years old. How many gyms have still have a stem room. I love going to the YMCA Downtown Dallas. It's the best lots of Old School traditions. Thank you for being you Downtown Dallas YMCA

I love the little to no wait for machines and the wet and dry sauna in the locker rooms are great after a tough workout. The only drawback I've felt is the hours of operation. Id like to see the Y here open a bit later in the evening to keep on par with competing gyms in the area.

I initially joined because I was told (by staff when I went to see the place) that they had group workout classes. Do they? Yes. When are they? Between the hours of 6am and 12pm, DURING WORKING HOURS. I have been trying very hard to avoid a $10 gym but they at least have options for group exercise that I can go to. I will keep asking this Y for more times in the evening but will cancel at the start of the year if no changes are made.
