★★★★★Allison RossAbsolutely fantastic dance experience! Melody is fabulous and understanding with children, wanting to teach them life long love of movement and healthy habits. She introduces students to movement techniques and terms and gently encourages them to follow along. The recital in the spring is AWESOME. It's based on a book and comes together more as a play than this is this class, this is another class... Giving the older dancers roles and the younger dancers (3-4, 4-5) more loose roles as butterflies or birds. Melody makes all the costumes and is so creative!! Truly an excellent find and a gem to have in the Chapel Hill community! To find her, navigate to the American Legion near Europa Dr and take the dirt road into the woods. Google navigation still hasn't figured it out. COVID update: nice weather- dancing outside in 6' circles; cold/bad weather- dancing indoors masked.
