We’ve been with the Sharks AAU Basketball Academy program under Matt Kelly and his coaching staff for several years now. With two boys who are four years apart in age, we’ve had the opportunity to experience the Sharks Academy program and its coaches at many levels, and it’s truly been a blessing to be part of the Sharks Academy family. It’s been amazing to watch my boys grow and improve week after week and season after season. My youngest is currently on the 14U team, and this season has been especially exciting under Coach Keegan. Naturally, as a parent, I asked my son what he thought about the coach, and from day one he said, “I like him.” Halfway through the season, he told me again, “I love playing on this team and for Coach Keegan.” Special shoutout to Coach Keegan, and thank you for making basketball fun for the children. The kids absolutely love playing for him, and it’s easy to see the positive impact he has on the team. For such a young group, their ability to run plays, move the ball, and play true team basketball is incredibly impressive. As a parent, I’ve really enjoyed watching a team that values discipline and smart basketball rather than simply chucking up three-pointers all the time. The boys have the freedom and confidence to shoot threes when the opportunity is there, but what I truly appreciate most is how focused they are on running the offense, making the extra pass, and playing unselfish basketball. In my opinion, that’s what separates the Sharks Basketball Academy program from many others. That style of play honestly has me excited for every game this season.The chemistry, hustle, good sportsmanship, and unselfish style of play make the games genuinely fun to watch. This is a clear reflection of Sharks Basketball Academy, Matt Kelly, his coaching staff, and the overall strength of the program. Go Sharks!

i coached high school basketball for 20 years and when it was time for my own kids to enter into a structured basketball environment I evaluated a number of different programs seeking out a fit on a number of different levels. Throughout our youth basketball journey there was one program that stood out way beyond the many options avaialable, and that program is Sharks Academy. What Coach Kelly and his expert staff are able to do on the youth level is amazing. From the very basic of technical skills through to elevated team concept, I know my sons are recieving the neccessary instruction to get to the next level if they so choose. What makes Sharks extremely special is the absolutely thoughtful planning and execution that fits the player wherever they are at on thier basketball journey. There is only one choice for youth basketball in the area, and that is Coach Matt Kelly and Sharks Basketball Academy!!!

I can't recommend the Sharks basketball league enough! My son has shown incredible improvement in a short time, thanks to the leadership and quality training provided by the entire coaching staff. They not only provide excellent training and practices but also organize fun team-building activities like Bulls games and high school matches.
