Ignite Hoops is a nonprofit youth basketball organization in Arlington Heights that runs skills-based summer camps for boys and girls alongside travel teams and year-round training for 1st-12th graders. Summer camps are afternoon sessions rather than full days: a four-day June camp at Thomas Middle School runs 1:00-3:00pm for grades 1-3 and 1:00-4:00pm for grades 4-6, with further sessions offered through June and July. Players are regrouped by age, ability and gender through the week, and the organization states a coach-to-player ratio often at 8:1 or better. It was launched in 2016 out of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church.

Coach Tyler Guest was the best coach in our past nine years of being a part of AAU. He motivated the team to be unselfish, playing tough defense without fouling, moving in space, phenomenal passing, being more aggressive getting to the basket, sharpening ball handling and blending a team that didn't play together.
