Hoops4Health is a Winnetka youth basketball organization, founded in 2010, that runs its summer programs at the Winnetka Community House. Its All-Star Sports Camp is a full-day camp for boys and girls entering grades K-5, running 9:00am-3:00pm in weekly sessions from mid-June through early August, with each week built around a theme, a field trip and league play spanning basketball, soccer and Olympic-style games; sessions are capped at 50 campers and extended care is available. The organization separately runs summer basketball skill clinics covering ball-handling, footwork, shooting off the dribble and catch, defense and playing without the ball, adjusted to the level of the players attending. Community House programs are registered through mycommunityhouse.org.

Powered by GoogleMy son is a 4 season Hoops4Health player. He has grown as a player, developed new skills and improved in confidence as a result of great coaching and support. I highly recommend this program for young basketball enthusiasts and evolving playing.
My son is going into 4th grade and has played in several Hoops4Health programs over the years (both travel and in-house programs). The coaches do a great job with the boys and we’ve found the competition to be well-balanced. Highly recommend their programs to anybody looking to grow in a competitive and fun environment.
Simply put, this is an amazing program. The coaches really get to know the kids, care about them, and are invested in their basketball journey (irrespective of a player’s skills). I think with the pressure of youth sports these days, this program does things the right way - a mixture of hard work, fun, teamwork, and balance (e.g. the health part). Despite the ups and downs of any given practice or game, my son walks away with a smile on his face and feels like he’s part of something meaningful. It’s hard to ask for more than that.
The 3rd grade girls feeder team was a great experience for my daughter. The coaches, particularly Coach Josie, spent a lot of time and energy developing the girls’ skills and building team camaraderie. It was amazing to see how much the girls improved over the season. Would definitely recommend and look forward to participating again next season!
My daughter had a great experience with the coaches and the program at Hoops4Health. She grew as a player, her technical understanding of the game and her love for the game all improved. She also loved being coached by the talented female coach Josie!
