We’ve gone for the Halloween Jack-o-Lantern trail and the Christmas lights (both super cool), but nothing beats a summer daytime visit with the animals out and about. There’s a little bit of everything- inside, outside, walking paths, animals up close...so the kids never get bored. By the time we’re done, they’re passed out before we hit the highway, which automatically makes it a win in my book. We always buy our tickets online ahead of time and it’s super easy. Parking has never been an issue. And you don’t need to overthink planning.. it’s just a fun, easy place to go that keeps everyone entertained and burns a ton of energy. Highly recommend if you want a low-stress zoo day that leaves your tiny humans totally exhausted and happy.

Only complaint, there should be sidewalks from all parking areas to the zoo entrance! Walking in the street is not safe with young children. Parking fills quickly on weekends.
