Richmond's professional soccer club, whose community arm runs a variety of youth soccer camps through the summer at locations around Richmond, offered as both half-day and full-day sessions and coached by Kickers technical staff and former professional players, with an emphasis on fundamental skills and creativity for players from recreational to elite level. The club also runs RVAccess, a program giving children with special needs the chance to play soccer, open to boys and girls ages 3-19 with sessions at City Stadium and The Collegiate School in Richmond's West End. The affiliated Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club, a 501(c)(3) formed in 2000 with over 8,000 players, has since joined with the Richmond Strikers to form Richmond United.
