Power Through Basketball is a basketball skills-training operator that delivers youth programs through suburban Chicago park districts. At the Woodridge Park District ARC its summer offering is weekly group skill training — 45-minute to one-hour Sunday and Thursday sessions split by grade band (K–1st, 2nd–3rd, 4th–8th) — which is a recurring class rather than a camp. The company does run true multi-day camps at other park districts, including a 9:00am–1:00pm three-day camp in Plainfield and single-day 9:00am–3:00pm camps in Downers Grove. Registration for all Woodridge sessions goes through the Woodridge Park District.

Our son has been doing Power Through since the summer and has grown and progressed so much. He used to be so timid during games, and his confidence has grown so much he isn’t afraid to get after it on the court anymore. Coach Elliot has helped him realize his strengths and how to play off of them. Our son has started to enjoy the sport more since doing this program. We will likely continue with this program on and off throughout the year.

We had the great opportunity to meet Coach Elliot. My son has improved so much his basketball skills during the time he has been with this program. We have signed for Shoot like Curry, 3 on 3 and Summer camp. The classes are about 1 hour of lots of techniques and strategies for elementary through older kids. We love that Coach Elliot has a great amount of patience and knows how to maximize the potential of different skills levels. The price for the classes is fair (cheaper than most clubs) and your child gets a lot. They also have a travel team, that we hope to join one day.
