Pompano Beach Aquatic Center is a City of Pompano Beach facility at 820 NE 18th Ave with a 50-meter by 25-yard Olympic-size pool and a 25-meter teaching pool, both heated in winter and cooled in summer. It hosts swim lessons for all ages, water-fitness and aqua-aerobics classes, a junior lifeguard beach swim test, South Florida Water Polo and the Piranhas swim team, and has a competition scoreboard and timing system, on-deck locker rooms and a pro shop. Daily admission runs $3 for residents and $6 for non-residents.

I was STRICTLY told that my babies can’t bring their water toys(we took them back to the car) the same lady(Rebecca) allowed a different family(white) to enter with three times as many toys. My son walked up to me and said “mommy I thought we couldn’t bring our toys and they was waving it in her face and she still let them in”. My family and I will never be back and I will tell others of my experience. That was not right I asked her about it and she confirmed no toys, atp I just packed my stuff and left
