The summer kids there is horrible. The concerts are bad and we went on a field trip to the second one in Pembroke Pines a month will be provided. We waited three hours and we had to wait another 45 minutes to actually get the food and they gave us about seven fries and one slice of pizza and the pizza was thin and no snacks. No nothing. The counter yelled and she told my kid to do better in life.

Paying 60/mo to go to a dirty gym. Cleaning staff is always there but still needs a periodic deep cleaning. Sometimes I'll put my phone on the ground under the equipment and then go to pick it up and there's hair or dirt on my phone and hands. All the mats are dirty and don't get cleaned. The barbells are crumbling away. Dust everywhere. Alcohol wipes only go so far! I've been coming here for years and now I'm starting to think I should go to Hallandale.

The hours of operation have never worked for me but I’ve been a member for over 14 years. Recently they raised my membership fee $22 without prior arrangement or notification. I never received a call or email (no, it is not in spam, even marketing events come straight to my email). I visited in March to request a change but was told that I needed to contact management. When I go to speak to management they are not available and come in the next day. So, in April I spoke to Patricia and she promised to call the next day. She didn’t, so a very kind, young lady apologized and cancelled my account. In May , I am still being charged. I went in to speak to management. Of course, they are not available and I have to return the next day. Does it take six times to try to cancel an account in this day and age?! How unprofessional can they become? Who pays $80.20 for a membership at the gym? I called my bank and made a claim. I will attempt to contact YMCA once again, let’s see what happens. I hope that I do not have to go to court.

Great Gym, Shame About the "Social Club" Membership The equipment is solid and the facility is fine, but apparently, I missed the memo that this gym doubled as a private lounge. It’s truly impressive how some people managed to mistake a leg press for a bistro chair. If you’re looking to get a workout in, be prepared to compete with the local 'parliament'—a group of people who clearly believe the entire gym is their living room. They don’t just talk; they broadcast their entire life story at a volume that makes noise-canceling headphones feel like a suggestion. I’ve learned more about their weekend plans than I have about my own fitness goals. Five stars for the weights, zero stars for the main characters who think they’re at a coffee shop. If you want to actually train, bring earplugs or a lot of patience. If you want to join a loud, sweaty social club where the only thing getting 'repped' is gossip, you’ve found your mecca

I go frequently to the YMCA. RODRICK is an Outstanding Caring worker there. His goal is to build the body of Seniors in his Bone Builders Class. His music choices are wonderful and he is very uplifting. The Y is very clean and lots of classes to choose from. I volunteered for Halloween night everyone enjoyed themselves. I give the the Y an A Plus
