This organization advertises that it has a program for children with special needs, but my experience showed that they were not adequately structured, staffed, or prepared to provide the level of support these children require. My daughter was enrolled in the program, and by the 4th day, the director, Susan Feldman, informed me that my child would need a private behavior technician in order to remain in the program because they did not have personnel available to accommodate her individual needs and limitations. This was never communicated before enrollment, and there appeared to be no plan in place to support children requiring additional assistance. What is most concerning is that services were essentially stopped without proper planning or transition support. My child was nearly removed from the program with very little notice, leaving our family scrambling to find alternative care and support. As a parent, I am now forced to urgently search for another placement because the program was not prepared to deliver the services it advertised. Families of children with special needs deserve transparency. If a program cannot adequately support children with varying needs, that should be clearly communicated from the beginning rather than after a child has already started. This experience caused unnecessary stress and disruption for both my child and our family.

Felt old, outdated and depressing here. The Swim Buddies program was a huge disappointment. After traveling 45 minutes, I was informed the last session was cancelled due to weather. There was an ongoing party, the weather was fine. You have a reputation to uphold YMCA. I definitely will not return or advise anyone to pay, not cheap either, for any special needs programming here. My daughter finished the Miracle League of Palm Beach county yesterday. It was fun, free... Such a stark contrast with YMCA.

Always a great place to be Family oriented facility who assist with child care for 2 hours while you're in the gym! Machines are always clean and working. Friendly staff who are willing to help.

They’re elevating some instructors like Alina and cutting hours to other great instructors . This Alina lady apart to look like she’s angry all the time she is playing diva like in a an opera play. She seems to live at the PPines YMCA and other good instructors have very few classes . The Senior’s Silver Sneakers program manager Pauli doesn’t seem to understand or doesn’t care that some people are complaining about this. Actually we hardly see her comparing iwith previous managers. Much has changed for the worse in the last few years at YMCA PPines and many long membership people have disappeared .

YMCA is a very family-friendly sports center. They offer everything from a fully equipped gym with cardio and strength machines to convertible indoor courts for volleyball and basketball. Outside, there are areas for playing baseball and other sports. The staff are always very friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained and clean. My daughter has been practicing and playing volleyball here for quite some time. Highly recommended."
