Pine Tree Camps runs traditional and specialty day camps plus a Monday-to-Friday sleepaway program on the Lynn University campus in Boca Raton, for campers entering kindergarten through 9th grade. Days combine sports, arts and crafts, music, nature and self-defense with fishing, canoeing, row boating, kayaking, a water bounce house, archery for campers 7 and up and go-karts for campers 10 and up; specialty tracks in creative arts, computer science, sports, cooking and discovery add 90 minutes daily in one area of interest. Every camper gets daily instructional swim with water safety lessons taught by certified lifeguards, plus a hot lunch and a snack. The camp states camper-to-staff ratios of 6:1 for five-year-olds and 8:1 for ages 7 and older, groups of 12-21 campers with 2-3 counselors, and a registered nurse directing the health office in the dorms; it describes itself as the area's only ACA-accredited summer camp.
