The Plymouth Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program teaches sailing on Plymouth Harbor through classes grouped by age and skill. Little Mariners is the beginner entry point; the Pram class takes ages 7–8 into their own 8-foot pram sailed with a buddy; Adventure Intro (ages 10–14) and Adventure Sea (ages 13–16) offer low-pressure destination sailing around the harbor for tweens and teens. The season closes with the club's Great Race celebration for all PYC sailors in mid-August.
