The Boston Yacht Club in Marblehead runs junior sailing classes for kids ages 6–15 in a deliberately non-competitive setting on Marblehead Harbor, with Harbor Buddies classes for the youngest sailors ages 5–7. Sailors train in Vanguard Optimists, Sonars and other small boats, covering everything from basic seamanship to advanced racing technique across class levels grouped by skill and age. The summer runs June 22–August 14 in four two-week sessions, with morning classes 9:00am–12:00pm and afternoon classes 1:00pm–4:00pm.

I recently celebrated my 90th birthday at BYC The food was delicious and the staff delightful!! I was especially pleased to acknowledge a waiter, Caleb. He went out of his way to make everything perfect! Thank you BYC Helane Walker aka Sissy

I've been invited to the Boston yacht Club for holiday Christmas parties and by friends who are members. The food and service is always outstanding. It's a wonderful place to have a holiday party or any other occasion for that matter.

Fabulous views, excellent service! Food is so good, specially lobster rolls!

This club used to be great but if you aren't VIP or someone the current management approves of you can get shoddy treatment. Recently I wanted to spend a lot of money to sponsor an event as we have in the past but had my reservations. They were confirmed when I went there with a smaller, unplanned group. The service can be great when the hard working college kids are there in the summer. The waterfront is also run well.

Beautiful setting. Being gluten free there wasn't much I could eat. The service was nice as far as getting you the things you ask for. It's a serve yourself deal on the deck.
