Park Central is a Waterbury nonprofit, founded in 1864, that runs enrichment programs for girls, including a themed-week summer day camp. Campers explore hands-on creative and skill-building activities using the center's classrooms, sewing stations, kitchen and gymnasium. The camp fee includes lunch and morning and afternoon snacks.

Need to be better about answering emails and phone calls. They load your email with emails about programs and then when you try to call or email them back nobody gets back to you. Do better!! And according to their emails they have a new membership coordinator What is this new membership coordinator doing?
What a great place. They provide the environment to help our young girls get the life skills they need to grow while building confidence and structure. Great programs and great team.
My mom forces me to go their and I hate it all we do is play in the gym and do homework that's it and we have to stop homework at a certain time
When I was in grammar school back in the 70's I took classes at what was known as the Girls Club for cooking and sewing. Recently, I gave a lecture on stay animals to the Brass City Circuit Sister Lego Robotic team; it was like going back home again for me! It's great to see such a wonderful organization for girls still going strong in the same location from when I was a girl. Education is something that no matter what happens in life, you can never take it away, and so very important for young girls. I especially like that a science based fun program has been added to the courses offered!
