The Berlin program center is part of the New Britain-Berlin YMCA, which runs Camp Thundermoon for ages 5-14 from 9:00am-3:00pm. Campers enjoy games, water fun, arts and crafts and sports, with specialty Art, Cooking, Sports, STEM and Theater tracks. Bus transportation is offered for New Britain families and financial assistance is available.

★Marcus TThe staff here really seem to only care what the parents think of the program vs the well-being of the children. The program director and assistant director care mostly about enrollment and do very little to actually help manage the behavior of the children and never have the backs of any staff member whatsoever, as I had a few crazy encounters with parents who were displeased with things out of anyone's control (or that were the director's responsibility to resolve) and I got hell for it and was reprimanded. There are some staff here who care but they have no support for it. Take your child and enroll them elsewhere.
