The Majestic Theater's Majestic Youth Theater Workshop runs summer theatre programs at its Baldwin Street Studios rehearsal space in West Springfield, taught by the theatre's staff of theater educators. The Young Actor's Toolkit Summer Intensive is a two-week program for ages 11-15, Monday-Friday 10:00am-3:00pm, built on hands-on workshops rather than a single scripted play and ending in a showcase; it is capped at 40 participants. Summer Theater as Play is a half-day week for ages 7-10, Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm, covering theater games, improvisation and scene work, capped at 25 per session. The studios house the theatre's set construction and costume shops, and the rehearsal hall floor is marked to the exact dimensions of the Majestic's stage.

Powered by GoogleThe Majestic is a great experience! They have great plays and musical shows. It's a smaller venue so it feels intimate and every seat is a good seat. The casts, the shows, the music, the sets are all stellar, every one I've been to. Great little Cafe for pre-show and intermission with great prices.
The play at Majestic was wonderful. Dear Jack, Dear Louise is a funny and emotional story told through a series of letters exchanged between suitors during a long distance WWII relationship. Based on true story. It was a great play!
I've been going here thru out the years. I absolutely love the intimacy of the theater! Everyone that works there is super nice and not to mention always the same familiar friendly faces!! The refreshments are just enough.... I will continue to be a season's pass holder! Thank you Majestic for your continued entertainment!!
Small theaters can offer an intimacy and connection with a production and the onstage talent that is either impossible to recreate in larger theaters or would cost you an arm and a leg. The Majestic is a perfect example of delivering on that small theater promise. There isn't a bad seat in the house, the staff very clearly loves the work they do, the venue offers plenty of space to relax and have a bite before the show or during an intermission, and the production quality is outstanding. We can't wait to go back.
Took my twins, nephew and several family members to Home for the Holidays last night. It was my first time ever stepping foot in the theater and it was so good! I highly recommend starting a Christmas tradition of going to this show. There was so much personality, love and talent on the stage. Can't recommend it enough. My kids and nephew are 9 and 11 and they were fully engaged the whole time. Suitable for the whole family.
