Steve & Kate's Camp is a national day-camp franchise whose New Haven location runs at St. Thomas's Day School for children ages 4 to 12. Campers choose their own activities in real time–sewing, stop-motion animation, coding and gaming, sports, maker crafts, water play and baking–with lunch, snacks and all hours (8am–6pm) included. Families buy flexible day passes rather than fixed weekly sessions.

★★★★New Haven MomMy kids have enjoyed this camp and the hours can’t be beat, not to mention not having to prepare lunches or snacks because they are provided. My daughter has enjoyed seeing many projects and my other daughter is becoming a “just dance” expert. My only criticism is that I wish the food was more locally sourced and higher quality (vs a Panera bagel or Dominos pizza) but it’s passable and there are choices each day. I also want to acknowledge that people who receive a discount on this program through their employer might feel it’s a better value than those who pay full price.

★★Ezra HonakerIt feels like everything is cardboard and it’s a bit of a cash grab. It’s says baking on the website but the only baking is when they hand you dough. It says VR on the website but there is none. And the good food is just Panera and they eat on the floor.
