Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford runs an after-school club for ages 6 to 18 at its Samuel S. Gray, Jr. Boys & Girls Club at Asylum Hill on Sigourney Street, open Monday through Friday after school with a snack and dinner each day for a $10 membership per academic year. Programs across its clubs include daily homework help and tutoring, STEAM projects in a MakerSpace, sports leagues, leadership clubs and college and career readiness for teens. The seven-week Summer Fun Club day camp for ages 6 to 12 runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm with arts, science and athletics, and its fee includes field trips and meals. Families approved for Connecticut's Care4Kids program may have some or all summer camp fees waived, and scholarships may also be available.
