I've started as a member of the Pantos Project Dance community participating in their first summer intensive back in 2014. Now I'm in my third season as an Ensemble member! I am so thankful for every class and performance opportunity I've had with PPD over the years. Kat, Carolyn, and Marissa and the whole team have fostered an inspiring and loving dance community where everyone can feel safe to explore their creativity and hone their craft. They're simply the best!!

Evenings with the PPD Adult Ensemble are the highlight of my week! The thing that sets the ensemble apart from other adult dance opportunities in the area is that before all rehearsals, we get to take technique class consisting of a thorough warmup and combination with the artistic director Kat Pantos, rehearsal director Carolyn Breton-Pantos, or ensemble director Marissa Masson. In addition to class, we have the opportunity to dance for and choreograph on our peers in the studio showing, as well as the opportunity to perform Marissa's/Carolyn's choreography in the professional company's spring concert. Everyone in the ensemble comes from different walks of life and backgrounds, and ensemble class + rehearsal is both challenging yet truly so supportive of everyone. The PPD community - company, youth movers, and adult ensemble - is such a welcoming and loving space that I recommend to anyone looking to dance in the greater Boston area! I’ve really enjoyed being a part of Pantos Project’s Ensemble! The ensemble directors are so friendly and actively work to create a welcoming environment through community events in addition to classes and rehearsals. The classes are challenging and a great way to keep training and improving as an adult. I’d definitely recommend Pantos to any dancer looking for classes and/or performance opportunities!

A company rooted in community, Pantos Project Dance provides so many opportunities for individuals to share their love of dance. I have been a member of the ensemble for 5 years, and know first hand the energy and joy inside this studio. As an adult looking for a consistent way to take classes but also performance opportunities, this was the perfect fit. Pantos Project Dance uniquely focuses on building and maintaining technique with classes consisting of a well crafted warm up and combination where dancers get to live in the moment and just have fun. The feeling in the space is electric and it is because of the community of people that makes up this studio; everyone feels welcomed. If you have a passion for dance, and are looking for the right people to share it with, Pantos Project Dance is the safe space for you.

I highly recommend Pantos Project Dance, especially if you are an adult looking to continue dancing in a fun, supportive, and professional environment. Lots of options to attend open dance classes, join the Ensemble for a season, or sign up your child for classes too! I have loved being a part of PPD for years, the friendships I’ve gained, and the opportunities to improve my technique and artistry. Not to mention, the studio is beautiful, well-maintained, and a true safe space!
