Olympia Family Theater is a nonprofit theater that runs week-long summer theater camps for ages 5-17, covering acting, improv, musical theater, monologue writing and audition skills, often built around themes such as Studio Ghibli, Bluey or Camp Half-Blood. Camps run Monday through Friday and vary by session: half-day mornings (9am-12pm), half-day afternoons (1pm-4pm), or full days (9am-3pm), grouped into age bands from 5-8 up through 13-17. Sessions are held at the company's theater on 4th Avenue E in downtown Olympia and enroll openly online.

Very impressive. The art in the masks and background were far above many I have seen

A great way to introduce a child to live theater! Perfect for children and adults.

This is a "can't miss" place to go if you're looking for local entertainment in the theater! You'll see regulars and up-and-coming talent in plays that will make you laugh, that are thought-provoking and a pure joy to watch! This non-profit organization offers acting camps that help young people learn confidence, cooperation, and inclusion with others! Your ticket supports these activities as well as provides excellent family entertainment! Call to see what's playing now!

A wonderful environment to see a show or enjoy a camp experience! Our oldest child has attended several camps during school breaks. They are wonderful and absolutely worth the money! But if the price is too high, you can choose what you pay to make it accessible for everyone. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic, kid friendly venue. Love this place. Take your kids and let them experience the arts. My 4 year old daughter loves the plays here. Seating is comfortable, there is bench seating for kids right on the stage. They always have an arts/crafts "project" to do prior to the performance that's related to the show. I was hesitant to give a good review, would like to keep this a hidden gem.
