Kinda complicated layout but I got used to it. Lots of things to do, would like to go to the sauna and the pool but I would have to wait till summer. Others are okay, a little small but it's okay!

Without question the dirtiest weight room and fitness center. Trash and equipment strewn throughout the floor. Heavy dust on the dumb bell racks and months worth of lint and pubic hair along baseboards or base of equipment (ie. cable back row machine). Never inner city or suburb have I seen a center ignore cleanliness as this one does. They focus more on coffee break areas (cleanliness/remodel) than cleanliness of actual fitness areas. For an entire week I watched a bowl of soup that had been left on the lockers…SOUP! And there it remained..no bother to clean it up.

Thinking about cancelling my membership. The fitness room is never monitored. Members have long speakerphone conversations, work out in their socks, and monopolize machines. There is literally no one available to ask questions or report a concern. The machines are dirty and many are outdated. The locker room is hot and dirty. The tiled floor to get to the sauna or pool area is like an ice rink when wet, which it always is. For almost $50 a month, I expect more.

The pool rules are ridiculous. Even if a parent is in the area their kids have to pass a swim test which I’m sure some adults wouldn’t even be able to pass. They have a shallow end, noodles, and life jackets available for what reason??? I took my kids to swim and they couldn’t unless a parent was in the pool too. What are these life guards getting paid to do?? Sit there. Cool. Trying to speak with any of the staff is extremely painful. They are all uneducated about their job. The front desk staff just look at you when you try and ask questions. I thought this would be a great place for my whole family to go but it looks like I’m just wasting money at this point.

Love the North Y. Have been here for plenty of events including the SnackTown Fun Run. Staff is always super nice and the new renovations look stunning! Location is amazing, super convenient and easy parking. Plus their summer camp programs are so much fun for kids, they always have a so much fun!
