An amazing warm community! Came by for a few days to work out when visiting family and everyone was so kind and welcoming 💕 I will definitely come back again next time I’m in town!

I really like this YMCA location. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and it’s never too crowded, which makes it a great place to come work out. It really feels like an important staple in the neighborhood and a place the community can rely on. Everything is always clean and the atmosphere is positive. I’m excited to see it eventually get some updates as well, because it’s already a great location and will only get better.

I wanna take a moment to bragg about this place. The encouragement I receive here lifts me up out of my darkest days of depression. I feel supported from people of all ages and backgrounds. I'm the shy type, quiet and stay to myself a lot. I surprise myself when I begin to socialize. I feel better knowing it's ok to speak, smile and hug and encourage someone else. I learned all this here and new church home. And the classes are energetic and you feel great and motivated afterwards. I want to send a special shout out to coach Ava, coach John, and Lakeshia Jones who works the front desk. There are other great instructors there as well, who will lift you up and say you can do it. The line dance instructor is amazing! I get lost in the motions sometimes learning the dances, and seeing this lady come from the front and stand beside me to help me with my two left feet is totally unreal ..lol. The chair fitness is so fun and the music coach John plays sometimes make you dance or say 'oh that's my song🎵 .. good old fashioned old school music! That's good for the mind and soul. Get there early because his class fills up fast. I love coach Ava 💙 God bless her ! This woman has poured alot into my health. I'm a stage 4 ovarian cancer survivor, lung surgery, kidney stones surgery, asthma, heart disease and high blood pressure survivor. Who keeps going no matter my odds. You don't have to have health issues to be like family. These people love on you because you are apart of the YMCA! And that's all that matters !
