Mission Bay Yacht Club in San Diego's Mission Beach runs MBYC Junior Sailing, its youth program on Mission Bay, which takes sailors from first lessons through advanced race teams. Summer morning classes meet 9am to noon, Monday through Friday, and are aimed at students new to the sport; the entry-level Rock Stars class serves ages 5-7 and the program overall covers ages 5-18. MBYC Juniors partners with San Diego Youth Science to add science content for participating sailors.
