MBYC Junior Sailing is the youth program of Mission Bay Yacht Club in San Diego, teaching sailing on Mission Bay from first lessons through advanced race teams. Summer morning classes run 9am to noon, Monday through Friday, and are aimed at students new to sailing; the entry-level Rock Stars class serves ages 5-7 and focuses on comfort on the boat and sailing basics, with the program overall covering ages 5-18. MBYC Juniors partners with San Diego Youth Science to add science content for participating sailors.
