SeaWorld San Diego runs ACA-accredited marine science camps on select weeks from June through August. Week-long day camps operate Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:00pm, and are grouped by grade - Orca Adventurers for grades 1-2, Holy Mackerel! What's for Lunch? for grades 3-4, and Xtreme Sea Creatures for grades 5-6 - with visits to animal habitats, games, crafts and park rides. Week-long resident camps for grades 5-6 and 7-9 and a Career Camp for grades 10-12 run Sunday morning to Friday morning with dorm lodging, meals and airport transfers included, adding behind-the-scenes animal care, dolphin and stingray feeding, and beach field trips for kayaking, boogie boarding and surfing. Campers must be 6 by September 1 of the year they attend.

The level of contact and information was great. Staff was always quick to respond to questions or offer clarifications. The site was easy to navigate for reviewing and uploading documents. During drop off the staff was friendly and very helpful. The camp itself was also great. There was a good variety of activities. The content was age appropriate and kept him engaged.
