Powered by GoogleMy daughter loved MSDC since day one, she is attending ballet classes and going to be on stage second time. Such a lovely and professional personal, Ms Alexis can find a way with any shy kid. And recently we organised birthday party in MSDC for my daughter, it was so much fun! People put their heart and soul in it!
Our daughters (3 and 6) have been going to Main Street Dance Center since last Fall when Ms. Alexis got us registered for class the night before the session started. Initially we had only our oldest registered, but Ms. Alexis included our youngest, who loved it, and we signed her up, too. We also had our oldest go to one of the 3 day long dance camps during school break and our daughter said it was the "best thing" she's "EVER done!" We highly recommend MSDC!
Main Street Dance Center is a welcoming, joyful dance studio for all dancers. I started taking classes here three years ago. While I'd taken dance classes as a kid, I had never been in ballet. I've learned a lot from Alexis and had a lot of fun while doing it. The community of dancers is supportive and kind. I joke to friends that Alexis is such a patient teacher that she wouldn't care if you came to class for years and never learned which foot was your left and which was your right. And that is true! But also, Alexis will help you figure it out and find ways for anyone to enjoy a dance class.
My daughters (ages 2 and 4) have been attending MSDC for over a year now, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found Ms. Alexis and this studio. From day one, it’s been clear how much care, thought, and intention Ms. Alexis puts into every single class. My older daughter is especially shy, and watching her blossom with confidence at MSDC has been nothing short of amazing. She feels safe, supported, and genuinely excited to participate — which speaks volumes about the environment Ms. Alexis creates. We also recently hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at the studio, and it was hands-down the best decision we could have made. Ms. Alexis and her staff truly poured their hearts into the event and went above and beyond to make it special. Every detail was thoughtful, the kids had an absolute blast, and the entire experience was seamless and stress-free as a parent. MSDC is more than just a dance studio — it’s a place where kids are nurtured, encouraged, and celebrated. We are so grateful to be part of this community and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Alexis is a fun, thoughtful, and highly skilled teacher. As an adult who has been dancing her whole life, I feel both challenged and supported in each class. These ballet classes are my favorite I’ve found in the Boston area! Alexis values technique and prioritizes injury prevention while always reminding us that adults are allowed to be in their adult bodies. MSDC’s adult ballet classes have become something I look forward to each week. It’s become a safe space to express myself, build strength and my technique, and just enjoy my love for dance. I’m endlessly grateful for all Alexis has done for me ❤️
