★Susan RodgersI’ve been a member since they opened …. I use the pool which keeps me going … today (1/6) and it’s chilly outside … the on-duty lifeguard has the outside door open. Now when swimming in the lap pool which is cool, everytime you reach that end of the pool you’re treated to a blast of cold air. I asked the guard if he could please close that door…his response …” no I can’t” to which I replied you can’t? “No I can’t it’s hot in here and I’m sweating.” I know these are young people working but…telling a paying client that the employes comfort is more important was NOT the right answer. I kept swimming and later saw the Lead Guard enter pool deck and shut the door.

The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes it feel more like a community than just a gym. From the fitness areas to the classes and family-friendly vibe, this YMCA truly stands out. Highly recommend!
