The Lake Norman YMCA in Cornelius is a branch of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, set on a private cove on Lake Norman. It runs summer day camps for kids with weekly themes, sports, swimming, arts and crafts and field trips, enrolled by the week. The nonprofit Y offers financial assistance.
