Camp Connections is a municipal weeklong day camp at the City of Plano's Liberty Recreation Center. Activities include arts and crafts, outdoor games, and multimedia projects, with weekly themes and campers grouped by age. Kids use the outdoor pool two to three times a week and families provide a sack lunch. Runs 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with extended drop-off from 7:30 a.m. and pickup to 5:30 p.m.

★★★★★David DyehouseSmallish recreation center so it’s rarely crowded. Pool isn’t always open because of the lack of life guards. Most of the gym equipment is in good shape but when something does break it can be awhile before it gets fixed. During the school year the kids from Vines HS hang out in the afternoon so the lobby can get crowded and boisterous…you know how teenagers are. Staff is very friendly and does their best to keep the juvenile mob under control as best they can. I commend them.
