KidQuest is a summer day camp in Black Mountain where children explore the outdoors and go on field trips, with weeks packed with pool days, playgrounds, hiking, art projects, STEM experiments and outdoor discovery. It also runs year-round enrichment classes in an art studio and maker-space STEM lab, emphasizing friendship, play and confidence-building.

★★★★★James CaronI’ve had my two kids (6 and 9 years old now) in KidQuest after school program for two years and the summer camp program for one summer (about to be a second summer). I cannot express enough how happy our family is with this program. Often times when I pick the kids up from KidQuest they ask if they can stay longer. If you knew my son (who isn’t a fan of school) you’d know how big of a deal this is. Gretchen and her team do a fantastic job of keeping the kids engaged with activities that are educational as well fun. The kids are always excited to go to KidQuest and I’m very thankful that we have a program of this caliber in our town. My kids will be involved in KidQuest for the foreseeable future. I encourage anyone else who’s interested to go check it out.
