Powered by GoogleWe came for a church retreat and had the absolute best time! Everyone loved the activities, the staff who ran each element were awesome, and the FOOD! Each meal was delicious and had many choices for a variety of diets. The cabins were comfy and clean. Come to Camp Tekoa if you want fun, faith, and great memories.
I recently experienced this camp with a Girl Scout retreat! I was absolutely blown away by the camp. Jake was amazing making sure everything was perfect and very responsive when we needed him. Jackson lead the girls in many activities and was absolutely amazing! My girls loved it so much they want us to send them to summer camp there!
My son had a great time at middle school 1 week sleep away camp this summer. All his fellow campers were friendly, the staff was welcoming and supportive and daily activities were fun and organized. He is looking forward to going back next year!
My daughter has been attending Camp Tekoa annually for six years. She started with a mini-camp as a rising first grader, and is excited to return this summer for her sixth year and graduating to the middle school camp sessions. The camp administrators and counselors always make registration, preparation, drop off, pick up and attendance a pleasure, with unending patience for those of us who might need a little more handholding as we leave the babes for their first sleep away experience, or for those of us that might wait until the week before to actually look at packing lists and required forms. My daughter’s summers at Tekoa have helped shape a shy and sometimes timid young girl into a confident and independent tween, raring to try new adventures and meet new people every year. My daughter always returns with tons of stories of the fun and interesting activities that fill a camp week, and new skills to show off. I never worry about her safety or comfort while she’s at camp. Tekoa also makes it easy for any parent to “check in” on a little with daily posts of hundreds of camper photos. My kid always raves about the food options as well and though some cabins are a little more rustic, all are safe and add to the overall experience of the week away from the normal routine for campers.
It's always a joy to go to events at Camp Tekoa. The staff is so caring and well organized and always make it a lot of fun for the participants, whether for a reunion, camp or day camp.
