Powered by GoogleWe love the brand new stationery bikes! All equipment is kept clean at all times.
My child is really into basketball, and we were looking for something engaging and a good fit. I believe we’ve found the right place, and it’s a huge plus that it’s only five minutes from our home. We have an excellent coach and a solid group of kids on the team. We’re very happy with the experience so far. We even brought a friend along, and my son mentioned that the practices are especially interesting because he doesn’t like routine or repetitive drills. This program truly caught his attention, and overall, we’re very pleased with it.
Joe Farmer Recreation Center is an incredible community gem, and it absolutely deserves a five-star review. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this facility was built with families and residents in mind. It’s clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to offer something for everyone, no matter your age or interests. The amenities are top-notch. The fitness area is well-equipped with a great variety of machines and free weights, making it easy to get a full workout in. The gymnasium is large and versatile, perfect for basketball, volleyball, or other recreational activities. One of my favorite parts is the surrounding park area—it’s beautiful, peaceful, and offers walking trails, open fields, and a small lake, which makes it perfect for both exercise and relaxation. The staff is another reason this place shines. They are consistently friendly, helpful, and invested in keeping the facility running smoothly. Whether you’re signing up for a membership, registering for a class, or just dropping in, the team always makes you feel welcome. Joe Farmer Recreation Center also offers a great range of programs and activities for kids, adults, and seniors alike. From fitness classes to community events, there’s always something going on that brings people together. Overall, it’s more than just a recreation center—it’s a cornerstone of the Allen community. Five stars all the way.
The state-of-the-art facilities, diverse classes, and friendly staff make every workout enjoyable. The cleanliness and well-maintained equipment enhance the overall experience. From the spacious gym to the inviting pool, it caters to all fitness levels.
I love this facility! It has everything for all ages. Membership cost $50 per year and you can enjoy all of the program they offered. Fitness, Gym, Yoga class, Basketball Court, Ping-pong tennis table, indoor tracks, etc. They also have program called Tiny tot gym (for kids 6 mo to 6 yo) every Tuesday from 10 to 11.30 AM . Kids are free if you have a Membership, otherwise it's $3 per kid. This particular program only available when the school open, closed during summer break. Friendly helpful and very informative staff members.
