Hingham JCC Early Learning Center is a JCC Greater Boston preschool for children from 15 months to 5 years, with toddler, preschool and pre-K programs at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom on Main Street in Hingham. The core day runs 9am to 1pm for toddlers and preschool and 9am to 2pm for pre-K, with an extended day until 4pm, and the center offers ten-month, part-day and full-day, and part-week and full-week programs, school vacation programs and a summer program of arts, science and STEM activities. The Reggio-inspired curriculum is child-directed and includes Jewish songs, blessings, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, stories, dance and exposure to Hebrew, in a community open to all. The center has a nationally certified Nature Explore outdoor classroom with a working garden, and financial aid is available.
