Ignite Soccer Academy runs two summer soccer camp weeks at the Washington Street School fields in Franklin. Week 1 is a full day, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., open to grades K-8, and mixes technical instruction, camper-and-staff competitions and games building to a World Cup tournament on the last day. Week 2 is an advanced half-day camp, 9:00 a.m. to noon, for players entering grades 3-8, with each day themed around attacking, defending or finishing. Coaching follows USSF and United Soccer Coaches methods; a registered nurse is on site at all times and a current sports physical is required.
