The Cohasset Recreation Commission is the town's municipal recreation department, and its main summer offering is the Summer Playground Program at 100 Sohier Street. The full-day program runs 9:00am–3:00pm for children in present grades K–4 across two three-week sessions (June 29–July 17 and July 20–August 7) at $589 per session, with a half-day High 5 program, 8:30am–12:30pm, for children entering kindergarten at $458 per session. Enrollment is limited to Cohasset students and residents and requires pre-registration with a photo and immunization records. The department also runs summer basketball clinics, archery, Wicked Cool for Kids, dance and an after-rec extension.
