Went with friends for the Easter egg hunt. It was my first time and I loved it. All of the animals are adorable. Biscuit, one of the coyotes is very interactive. The bobcat was perched on one of the wooden beams high up- I wish I could've watched him/her (?) get up there. They have so many owls- I was especially impressed by the white owls! I am so appreciative that they help wildlife. I am looking forward to going there again

WHAT A JOKE! I called the other day about an injured animal, a lady transfered me to the clinic line and I did everything the line prompted me to do, The clinic it said is supposed to be open 10 to 3pm it was way before 3 when I called! Also they can only take certain animals? Why only certain? Now what if a human were to get hurt and the hospital changed their policy and said we can only take certain people. These animals are suffering due to our invasive race! This place thats SUPPOSED to put animals first and not money youd think would make a difference, This place is nothing but a money grabbing buissness showcasing animals to convince the public that they care or else theyd be doing better for these poor things! They finally called me back hours later and im not standing in the woods for a few hours when I live an hour away from where I was! THE ANIMAL NEEDED CARE! AND THIS PLACE DID NOTHING! I was luckily there with the animal and tried keeping it comfort with the little I had, then it was scared away by a useless police officer. SUCH A JOKE!

I was at a Follow the Feeder event where a group of people got to follow a staff member while they fed each animal on the schedule and told us about each friend, how they arrived, and other facts about the species. Henri was our feeder for the day and they were incredibly insightful, and patient with questions and calming excited children. They added a very human element to a normal trip to the center, and acted as the perfect ambassador for the animals, telling the group to give space when the animals showed signs of stress. I will be definitely be coming back.

A Nature Center that rehabilitates injured animals from the wild. There are over 200 acres to explore . Exhibits are clearly marked but some are in need of repair. Numerous well marked natural paths guide you thru the nature center and surrounding forest. Huge kids play area..great for food trips and Summer Camps. Parking is free but there is an admission price of 8.00 per Adult and 6.00 per Child/Seniors. Mostly volunteers work at the Nature Center and they rely on donations to keep the Center operating. An animal clinic to treat injured animals is also on site and they offer many educational programs as well. The staff is very dedicated..you won't be disappointed.
