Roeper Summer Programs runs on the 13-acre Bloomfield Hills campus of The Roeper Lower School, which includes woodlands, a creek, an athletic field, two swimming pools, three playgrounds and nature trails. Day Camp is for children between the ages of 3 and 12 in two-week sessions: Exploration Camp for children 3 years of age through kindergarten, and Activity Camp for grade 1 through age 12, where campers choose their own activities for each of the six periods of the day. Specialty Day Camps add 2.25 hours of small-group focus each morning in art, baseball, dance, forensics speaking, makerspace and robotics, science, soccer, computer tech or online 3D graphics, with the rest of the day spent in Activity Camp. Theatre Camp for grades 1 through 5 and a grades 6-8 creative writing and graphic novel camp run on the school's Birmingham campus, and a High Performance Basketball Camp runs for grades 2 through 11. A daily hot lunch and snack are included in the tuition for Day Camp, Specialty Day Camp and Theatre Camp, and Before and After Care are available for an additional fee.

Session 1 is $1,005. A camper registered for 8 weeks of camp [Day Camp, Specialty Day Camp, or a combination of Day Camps and Theatre Camp] receives a $435 discount applied after registration.

I remember making (with adult help) of course, a small art project, with plastic webbing and seashells glued onto a board. I broke it at home in a tantrum. How could I have been such a rotten kid?! I Ddi have Hyperactivity. I remember the finger painting. I also remember knocking down Amy or Belinda, despite her begging me NOT to. I knocked down a boy in my neighborhood, too, at around the same age. I remember the picnic with my Mom and Dad at the End of Summer there. There was a show with some of the kids doing a honeybee dance. There was an outdoor pool, but I played in the rain at home, got a cough and my Pediatrician forbade me from pool activities, lest it turn into Pneumonia. I was bummed at that. Apparently, there was a school Psychiatrist who contacted my Mom about my Hyperactivity. Mother's do NOT smoke during Pregnancy-it Triples the rate of ADHD in your Offspring. When I got to grade school I was repeatedly the Victim of bullying, with my Charlie Chaplin walk. Even at six years of age.and up, I would never Dream of giving anybody Else a Bad Time! I was on a medication until about halfway through Junior High School. I became successful, but it wasn't because of my Math Ability...I struggled with stuff like that.
