Powered by GoogleIt’s been almost a month and a half ago maybe two months I called and asked for a trainer. She said she was gonna send me some paperwork and never did so week and a half later I went and got it. She was rude and told me there wasn’t enough trainers and she give me a call. It’s been almost 2 months and nobody’s called me. She wasn’t very friendly. She said take this paper and fill it out so I did on the phone, she asked me what my goals were. That’s why she just couldn’t take appointments so I thought she wanted to know what my goals were but when she gave me the piece of paper all I asked was what days I wanted and I got nothing since.
1) This place is DIRTY! I got COVID and the flu from here within a month of each other in the winter. People sometimes clean the equipment but a quick little wipe down with the diluted cleaning product they use (Odoban) doesn’t work! The surface has to remain wet for 60 seconds to sanitize at full strength. Avoiding this place in the winter now. 2) Two stairmaster machines that you constantly have to wait for 3) Broken or missing equipment everywhere 4) No more rock wall or racketball courts 5) The basketball gym courts are often taken up with senior classes, volleyball, etc. 6) The instructor led classes are terrible other than Jack’s cycling class. The yoga here is awful and other strength classes are meant for adults/seniors to feel like they did something instead of teenagers/young adults who actually want results. An actual HIIT class would be great. 7) The phone number to the gym doesn’t work because you get an automated response from the township. 8) I’ve told the front desk that machines are broken and they could care less. On one machine the double pin for the plates broke in half with only one pin left. I tell the front desk that someone needs to replace that pin and guess what, still isn’t fixed! That’s a safety issue but they don’t care. 9) Overall, the gym feels like a senior center rather than a gym. Which is surprising given there’s a free senior center workout place by the township buildings just up the road.
No hot water since December 28th. 30% of the mens lockers have broken or missing locks all together. They are slow to repair weight machines. On the positive side the staff is excellent.
I’ve had a fantastic experience at this recreation center! I mainly come here for basketball and exercise, and the facilities are top-notch. The atmosphere is beautiful and the energy is always positive. It’s easily my favorite place to stay active. Highly recommend!"
Joined here because they had daycare for my daughter which is awesome! The staff are friendly and the childcare center is new. They are updating and upgrading the facility, even added a stair master that I see people complaining about. If you use the amenities like the childcare, pool, classes, and the gym the membership is definitely worth it.
