Total Soccer Royal Oak runs soccer-only summer camps for boys and girls ages 5-12, held at Worden Park behind the tennis courts. Camps are built in a progression style and aim to develop each player's technique regardless of current skill level, with attention to fine details and an emphasis on fun. The operator also runs Soccer Stars, a separate child-development class program for ages 18 months to 5 years that uses games to build motor skills, fitness, and self-confidence.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Total Soccer Royal Oak directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWe did not have a good experience. First, the coach often seemed disengaged and did not acknowledge the children individually, despite there typically being only about five kids in the class. Second, there was a clear lack of structure. Toddlers thrive on routine, and the classes felt inconsistent from week to week. While no one expects toddlers to develop soccer skills at this age, they should at least be having fun—and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case most days. My child started the class very excited, but by the end he had lost interest in soccer altogether and no longer wanted to attend. We also brought our concerns to the owner, and were disappointed with the response. While he acknowledged that this coach may not excel with this age group, there was no apology or meaningful effort to address our experience. We will not be returning and would not recommend this program for toddlers.
It's clean and it's nice to have a place in the city that has games
Very nice done and field. Kinda of trashy during off season though. Also gets crowded
These coaches are useless. They instill ZERO RULES or discipline in the kids. They don’t even teach the game… I am constantly chasing my kid all over the field because they can’t do their job. If I’m going to be doing that, can I ask what the hell I’m paying you guys for??? Worst coaching I’ve ever seen, lazy and incompetent!!!
Someone threw up on the field while playing. The two people in the picture being the ref and an administrator to the building refused to stop the game to clean up the mess. They Literally had us step over the vomit for the remaining period of the game. This is unethical, unhygienic and leaves a poor image to the facility. Please, work on improving your business if you want to serve our community.
