Powered by GoogleOne of my daughters is in her fourth year of team at GAB and attended classes in the years prior to that. She absolutely loves going and comes home with a smile on her face after each practice. The coaches have been great, always understanding, willing to discuss any concerns, and have encouraged and supported her throughout her time at the gym. GAB is very family focused and the team has been such a confidence booster for her. Her younger sister saw how much she enjoyed it and has now joined and is in her second year of team following classes too. The coaches have been great about meeting her where she is, supporting and encouraging her. I feel that they know how to adapt to different personalities and work ethics in the kids. In addition, my granddaughter (almost 3) absolutely loved the parent/tot classes with Alyssa and hasn't stopped talking about them. We have also had a birthday party there and attended others there. The staff were amazing, entertaining the kids and running a great party. I highly recommend GAB for classes, team and birthday parties. They have a very dedicated group of instructors and coaches who truly care.
My family has been a part of the GAB Family since we moved to Acton 8yrs ago. - Since my now 11yr old was 3 and my now 7yr old was 1.5, doing Mommy and me classes. - My older daughter has been on the gymnastics team for the last four years, and our experience has been nothing but positive! The coaches have always pushed the girls in the most healthy and supportive ways. My daughter tends to overly dwell on the next advanced trick she is taught as she moves up in her levels, and the coaches are so encouraging and patient with her as she navigates her fears. They are not pushy and they genuinely care about their athletes well-being and progress. My daughter comes home, proud, confident, and excited about her sport. She feels so safe at the gym and truly treats it as her second home. She has such an amazing relationship with each coach that I feel beyond comfortable dropping her off at each practice and leaving her in their care. There have been meets where my daughter has done her absolute best and her absolute worst, and every single time, the coaches create a safe environment where they can chat about improvements for the next meet while still praising her for her hard work. I am extremely grateful for the team culture they have created for my older daughter and the fun environment they have created for my younger daughter. I highly recommend GAB. They truly are the absolute BEST!
GAB is the best! My daughter (9) is in her second year on the Bronze team after taking recreational classes at GAB for several years prior. We started my daughter in gymnastics as a continuation of her physical therapy during her cancer treatment. My girl has learned to walk more than once and, thanks to the compassionate, encouraging, and supportive yet firm coaching she has received over the years at GAB, she is now competing round off back handsprings and doing handstands on the balance beam. I can’t speak highly enough of all the coaches and staff at GAB. It is a tough job to coach kids outside their comfort zones through physically and mentally challenging exercises and GAB does it so well. The girls gymnastics team program is truly the best balance of hard work and fun for my daughter and she counts her teammates as her best friends. Outside of team, my two sons (7 and 3) also enjoy going to GAB. The ninja classes have been phenomenal for my high-energy middle son who just needs to move! He has enjoyed the outlet he finds in classes and uses his gymnastics strength in other sports. My littlest son benefited greatly from toddler classes, making new friends, learning new skills and having a big open play area to go to during the many open gym times. It’s great to have this place to go to, during the cold winter months especially, to stay in shape and connect with friends and coaches. GAB is such a wonderful gym and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Amber loves her coaches and team at GAB. She comes home glowing and excited about the routines, the energy, and the challenges. The skills and conditioning are awesome and her GAB coaches deserve credit for her accomplishments in many of her other sports as well (running, swimming, and acro dance). The coaches tailor to every kid and are supportive while still encouraging the girls to be the best they can be. Coach Eric is always responsive and helpful.
We’ve been long-standing members at GAB, and it has been an amazing experience for all three of my daughters. They’ve attended weekly gymnastics classes for years, and one has even continued on to compete with the GAB team. The program is extremely well run, and the coaches are truly exceptional. They are encouraging, supportive, and always keeping things lighthearted with fun nicknames and positive energy. They push the girls to reach their goals each season while still making sure they enjoy the process. Whether your child is just starting out and wants to learn the basics or is ready to lean into the sport and compete, I highly recommend GAB. It’s a wonderful place for young gymnasts to grow, gain confidence, and have fun.
